The style of Karate is Higashi, Wado Kai - similar to Wado Ryu, which is one of the many karate clubs in Cardiff. Cardiff Higashi Karate Club is run by Nici Lintern-Gittens, 4th Dan, who has over 30 years experience and teaches to a high standard.
 

You do not have to be fit, thin or flexible to start karate.
It does need concentration and practice.
Just turn up to train or even watch a session to see if it is something you would enjoy.

The lower age limit for children in this club is 6 years old, as the classes do require a degree of concentration.
There is no upper age limit at which an adult can start karate.
